I think we can create our own social network from two aspects. The first is to use technology, that is, social media to expand and develop my PLN. For example, use zoom, skype, etc. to conduct online video conference discussions.

There’s no better tool for building your PLN right now than Twitter. It has become a key hub in the past few years for the L&D community world-wide, making it well worth your time. (Woods, 2013)
As an economics student, I checked #EconTwitter. Many economics professors and students participated in this discussion. These open chats established good connections and a very strong learning atmosphere, which made me feel very interesting.
we can try to find like-minded friends in this good discussion environment to gain new voices. The second is to publish your own opinions and listen to the opinions of others to create PLN. Everyone has different hobbies. Only through communication, then we will understand each person’s strengths and learn new things to further build PLN.
